Supporting the Community this Fall! |

Fall is almost here, and our team have been lucky enough to attend two amazing community events already – supporting two different but equally important causes! |
|
|
Over 8 million individuals in Canada live with a disability, many of which are invisible. By supporting both the child and their family, we ensure that they all have the tools needed for a year-to-year development! We had a great time at this luncheon, and learned many great ways to help support our community further!
The activities helped us understand how everyday tasks can be more challenging for individuals with developmental needs. |

This was the 9th annual “Rotary Walk for Nepal 2024”, and with generous contributions from individuals and organizations, our club has raised more than $150,000 USD so far, which has helped rebuild schools and supported various projects such as serving 100,000 hot meals during the Covid19 lockdown, drinking water and many more!
This year all funds were dedicated to support a “Dental and Medical Health Camp” by bringing a team of Canadian professionals in partnership with Nepalese professionals. |

Join us in standing up for Nanaimo’s vulnerable youth by giving up your bed for one night so that others can have the hope of having one someday. Form a team, raise funds, and spend the night “roughing it” with us and SIRREAL to help make a tangible difference in our community. |
